It's been a while since I had steak 🍴 Recently, I went to Forkers, a Western steakhouse specializing in house-aged steaks, for a romantic dinner 🍾 The restaurant is celebrating its 5th anniversary and is offering a classic two-person set menu for $1388, which is both rich in content and highly cost-effective 🍷 🍴Appetizer: 🐽FARM DIRECT Jamon Iberico de Bellota 48+ months The Iberico Ham here is directly sourced from a joint farm in Spain and aged for at least 48 months. It has a nutty aroma, a rich and elastic texture, and a full salty flavor! 🦀HOUSEMADE Maryland Crab Cakes The crab cakes are packed with ingredients, with over 90% being crab meat. Every bite is full of fresh crab meat! 😛😙 🍴Soup du jour / Shrimp and Lobster Bisque (+$88) The soup of the day was tomato pumpkin soup. The acidity of the tomato combined with the sweetness of the pumpkin was surprisingly well-matched. I recommend upgrading to try the Shrimp and Lobster Bisque, which has a rich lobster flavor enhanced by the shrimp, making it even more delicious 😋 🍴Main Courses: 🥩45+ days dry aged USDA prime ribeye steak The restaurant has a professional aging freezer, and the ribeye steak is aged in-house for over 45 days. The meat is tender and super juicy, with a unique dry-aged salty flavor and a very pronounced beef taste! Absolutely amazing 😇😇😇 🦞Rock lobster tail linguine The lobster tail is a full 6oz, very large! The meat is fresh and bouncy, and paired with the linguine, it's a delightful surprise 😝 🍴Desserts of the day x2 There were four dessert options that night. We chose the lemon cheesecake and the sawdust cheesecake. Both were just okay. It would be better if there were other options besides cheesecake because we were already quite full after the appetizers and main courses, haha 😂 🍴Coffee / Tea The wine here is also very reasonably priced.
