I.M. Pei: A Life in Architecture Comprehensive Retrospective Exhibition

The first comprehensive retrospective exhibition of I.M. Pei, the influential Chinese-American architect of the 20th and 21st centuries, is about to open. 'I.M. Pei: A Life in Architecture' meticulously examines his works and revisits his legendary life. The exhibition, seven years in the making, features over 400 exhibits, including a series of drawings, architectural models, photographs, videos, and other archival records from institutional or private collections, many of which will be publicly displayed for the first time. The exhibition is divided into six major themes, offering an intimate exploration of Pei's life and work. These themes not only fully demonstrate Pei's unique architectural approach but also juxtapose his works with social, cultural, and personal trajectories, highlighting the inseparable relationship between architecture and life. In addition, a range of limited-edition merchandise inspired by Pei's architectural projects will be available, including glass vases, wall clocks, building blocks, eco-friendly bags, bookmarks, and folders.
