How to get to Shing Mun Reservoir? Take minibus number 82 from Siu Wo Street in Tsuen Wan to Shing Mun Reservoir. After getting off, you can start the hike on either the left or right side; the trail simply loops around the reservoir. This time, I chose to go right. Shing Mun Reservoir is indeed a relaxing hiking route, with plenty of seats along the way for resting. Continue forward, and the path is paved, making for an easy walk. The trail signs are clear, and there are information boards that introduce the history and background of the area. The views of the reservoir are stunning!
