The Perfect Italian Anniversary

It is actually our 2nd time back at Blu House, Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong. We came last year and really enjoyed it, so have decided to come back for our 2nd Anniversary due to their hospitality! We were welcomed with complimentary champagne and rosemary focaccia. Beautifully lightly buttered toasted, a great way to start a meal with a glass of bubbly. Their seafood is fresh, octopus is a must order if you go to Blue House. So we’ve ordered their seafood pasta Mezzi Paccheri ai frutti di mare, well cooked to al denté. Squid was so soft and squid really chewy, prawns were not overcooked. Now, we came back particularly for their roast chicken, pollo allo spiedo. We loved it the first time we came, served with roast potatoes and mushrooms, nice and sweet! It was great pairing with their complimentary peperoni e olive, smells wonderful and tastes wonderful. To finish up, of course there was dessert! Their tiramisu is a must, my favourite. Then we also ordered their grape tart, fresh and custard was smooth. They were also absolutely welcoming with something extra for us. I personally loved the crème puff, which I’ve originally eyed out in the beginning before I decided on the tiramisu.
