#hongkongtrip Hong Kong Heritage Museum is situated in Shatin, next to the Shing Mun River, surrounded by greenery, accessible by Che Kung Temple MTR station, opened in 2000. It’s the largest museum in Hong Kong, accommodate up to 6,000 visitors. It houses extensive 12 exhibition galleries, six are permanent for museum’s collections like Chinese paintings and Children Discovery Gallery. The other six are thematic galleries for short term exhibitions. It’s designed to provide comprehensive exhibitions on history, art and culture, interactive exhibitions and programs.
