For 95 years, it has been the leader of Hong Kong hotels and has always stood at an important position on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. It has become a must-visit attraction for Hong Kong citizens and tourists for many years. The afternoon tea in the lobby of the Peninsula Hotel is famous overseas. Many people rush to Hong Kong to taste the delicious afternoon tea and see the exquisite tea sets and lobby decoration. The Verandah, a western restaurant, is also a well-known good restaurant; but you may not have much contact with it. The Peninsula Hong Kong is the only five-star hotel to own this bottle of treasure. The wine company also specially selected this bottle of The Macallan The Reach numbered 95/288 for the hotel. Therefore, The Peninsula Bar will display this wine in a precious treasure-trove design glass box in the bar from April 28. I believe many people missed the last exhibition of The Macallan The Reach. The new creative cocktail series, two of which are made with The Macallan whisky, include the tropical The Highlander at the Beach, made with The Macallan 12-year-old sherry cask single malt whisky, banana liqueur and coconut water; my favorite is the mellow Fungi Old Fashioned, which is made with The Macallan double cask 12-year-old single malt whisky, black truffles, matsutake, porcini, and Japanese rice yeast. Two other cocktails are also very special, including Pyroclast's Fruit, inspired by the classic cocktail Old Fashioned, made with three rums, cold-brewed Dieseldorff Microlots coffee beans, tobacco bitters and raw cane sugar; another favorite cocktail, the spicy Mai-Tai-flavored Paradise Lost, made with mezcal, Habanero Agave liqueur, ginger, galangal, ginseng agave nectar and fresh lime; the stirred Quinced contains Calvados quince liquor, cognac liqueur, dry sherry vermouth, apple nectar, brine, and quince brandy Rochelt Quince Eau de Vie; Clean & Dirty is a variation of the Dirty Martini, made with Belvedere vodka, Bollinger PN TX17 Champagne, dry vermouth, pickled champagne brine and bran pickled radish; Last Year Mirabelle is fresh and rich, made with 8 months of Sleeping Mirabelle distilled gin, white vermouth, Mirabelle plum liqueur, fresh lemon and egg white shaken together. For reservations please contact the catering team. 🥃🥰The Reach Introduction Distilled during a turbulent period in The Macallan’s history, this is the oldest whisky ever released by The Macallan, aged 81 years in sherry oak casks. This deep auburn whisky is presented in an elegant, handcrafted, mouth-blown, hot-cast glass decanter, supported by a unique bronze three-hand sculpture by Scottish sculptor Saskia Robinson, symbolizing that The Reach is a masterpiece created by the combined efforts of many people and a tribute to the perseverance of the master distiller who created this rare whisky.
