Recently, I visited a creative Japanese izakaya "心の食堂" with my friends. The restaurant is located in the Bai Lek Center on Yiu Wah Street. The store is not large, with only about 30 seats, but the tables are spacious. With the indoor sofa seats and bicycle decorations on the walls, the decor is simple and has a hipster feel. The restaurant offers self-service ordering, with guests scanning QR Codes with their mobile phones to place orders. Food options include main courses, heart rolls, mini sushi cups, warships, sashimi rice, grilled items, snacks, salads, fried foods, drinks and alcohol. The restaurant focuses on creative rolls. This Bruce Lee roll ($68) combines fried crab tongs, caviar, crab seeds and cucumber.
