The Seaview Seafood Restaurant has the longest queue. It has so many varieties. Are you sure you won't miss it?

🏠Seaview Seafood Restaurant @ G/F, No. 56 Main Street, Lau Fau Shan The dishes sold in the seafood restaurants in Lau Fau Shan are similar. Since I couldn't make a judgement myself, I went to a website and found the number one Seaview Seafood Restaurant. 🐟Braised pork belly This restaurant stops taking orders at 1:30 p.m. and closes at around 3 p.m. I got off work at 1 p.m. and drove here quickly. We had already decided what to eat in the car. Braised grouper fish belly was what I wanted to eat but I didn't dare to order because there were only two of us. If I ordered a big fish, I was afraid we wouldn't be able to finish it, and if I ordered a small braised fish, I was afraid it wouldn't taste good. So I decided to order steamed scallops with garlic instead. However, the waiter recommended the braised pork belly with red beet, saying it was a signature dish and the portion for two people would not be too much, so it should not be missed! The fish belly is fried, the outer layer is crispy and the fish meat inside is not bad, but it is indeed not fresh, sweet and tender enough, and there is less fish juice. I have to reiterate that it is definitely not not fresh, but it did not feel particularly fresh after traveling so far, and the sauce was not thick enough. However, this dish was indeed my favorite that day and did not ruin the reputation of the signature dish. 🦐Salt and pepper mantis shrimp The fried garlic was too salty, and the shrimps should not be dipped in too much garlic, but fried food is rarely bad, and I even ate the shrimp heads. Mantis shrimp is the same as spotted shrimp. It is not unfresh, but it is not necessarily particularly fresh, and the meat lacks the refreshing and chewy texture. 🦪 Stir-fried razor clams with black bean and pepper This was the dish I was most dissatisfied with that day. The flavour of the starchy sauce failed to blend with the clams, and it tasted like clams dipped in black bean sauce. The flavour failed to penetrate the meat and it lacked the aroma of wok cooking. My friend questioned whether the clams were fresh because the shells had been removed and the meat was a bit too firm. 🧆Deep-fried oysters The result was exactly as expected, with a crispy and flaky outer layer and juicy oysters. The only drawback is that the oysters are rather small and fail to create a full taste. 🦀Salt-baked baby crab I like crab roe more than crab paste, and I can't live without crab meat, so the crab with roe and meat is just what I like, unlike the hairy crab which has roe but no meat, or other crabs which are mostly roe and meat. The crabs here are not big in size, but the crab roe content is not bad. The flavor comes out with a little salt. There is no need to dip them in vinegar. They are delicious without any fancy ingredients or cooking methods. Of course, vinegar adds a nice flavor, but there’s no need to use it to mask any problems. My friend was not too satisfied with the quality of this restaurant as they did not allow customers to choose their own seafood and felt the food was not very fresh, similar to an average city restaurant. I'm not obsessed with choosing my own seafood, but I did feel that it didn't taste better than usual after traveling so far, but neither of us felt it was badly worth it because the charges were much lower than we expected. The unit price of the five dishes was not listed, and there was no charge displayed on the menu, but with two beers, a bowl of rice, and fruit after the rice (an orange), $1,200 was not expensive. I would rather spend a little more in exchange for better quality, but I'll just try this one once. 💯Score: 3.7 out of 7 #SeaviewSeafoodRestaurant #Laufaushan #HongKong #Food #FoodDiary #FoodSharing #FoodRecommendation #ChineseCooking #CantoneseCooking #Lunch #Dinner #laufaushan #restaurant #hk #hkig #hongkong #foodie #foodiehk #hkfoodie #foodlover #gourmet #foodblog #foodpic #food #dessert #chinese #cuisine #seafood #lunch #dinner
