Gothic-Mudejar Composite Style Church

A Journey Through Spain's Central Plateau ~ Guadalajara (Region) The Gothic-Mudejar style Catholic church was built in the 14th century. It features a rectangular layout with three naves, a polygonal apse, and side chapels. Inside, the 16th-century Mudejar coffered ceiling, composed of polygonal latticework, is particularly striking. Other notable features include a Romanesque baptismal font, a Gothic sculpture of Our Lady of Cuesta, and tombstones preserved in the Church of San Pedro. From the exterior, the bell tower stands out with its Herrerian style, constructed in the 16th century.
