Ice crystal snowflakes on Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido, under a microscope

1/17 Under the microscope, the ice crystals of Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido, are super beautiful and dreamy. We happened to be near Asahidake these days and saw the introduction of hexagonal snowflakes in the literature. We happened to see the introduction again when we went to the Daisetsuzan National Park Visitor Center, so My husband asked the staff where we can see snowflakes with our own eyes. Unexpectedly, they immediately took us to see a microscope. We immediately picked snow outdoors and looked for ice crystal snowflakes under a microscope.
