🍶Shirakawa-go + Hida Takayama/A long article with lots to say! It also doubles as a pilgrimage to sacred places🛤

This summer, I got an invitation to a restaurant that specializes in Hida beef, and decided to travel to "Hida Takayama" on short notice. My travel companions are my parents and daughter. I wanted to go to a place I've always wanted to go to! So, I started with the long-awaited "Shirakawa-go". There are lots of triangular thatched roofs! Everywhere you take a picture is picturesque 🖼 Here, we had unrefined sake at a liquor store from noon 🍶 and my mother and daughter had cute shaved ice 🍧 After that, we went to "Hida". My daughter said she wanted to go to the places that appeared in "Your Name", so we went to the train tracks, the library, and the shrine ⛩! However, there were no advertising signs anywhere, and it was just a surprisingly small sign that said "This is the place that was the model for "Your Name". It's so dull. There were not many people at the shrine, and it had a sacred atmosphere. Is this the shrine from that scene? I was deeply moved. And then we checked into the hotel in our final destination, Takayama. Personally, I loved the service here so much♡ After arriving, we were offered a glass of draft beer as a welcome drink, so I toasted my father here🍻 The room was a super🉐 plan, large and spacious with a sofa. Sometimes you can only relax on the bed in a hotel, so it's nice to have a place to sit♡ For dinner, we had sukiyaki and steak🥩 at Aji no Yohei, a Hida beef restaurant run by a sake brewery😋 Since I don't eat meat, we had four servings for three people, and everyone was full😂 We also enjoyed comparing local sake🍶 We still wanted to drink, so we went back to the hotel and went to the bar on the top floor, and it was unmanned and all-you-can-drink for 2,000 yen😵💫 wine🍷 whiskey🥃 beer🍺 you can drink as much as you likeーー！ Moreover, the spacious balcony was too nice ♡ While being blown by the night breeze and looking down on the city of Takayama, I toasted my father again and again 🥂 In the morning, I was surprised to see a buffet breakfast, Western food, Japanese food, and even Takayama ramen 🍜! I was full → checked out Then I went around the city of Takayama, went shopping at the morning market, and ate Hida beef sushi 🍣, mitarashi dango, and other things Anyway, it was a trip full of "fun" and "delicious". Traveling is great! I always think that.
