Dagu Glacier, once is not enough.

Dagu Glacier We stayed overnight in Heishui for one night before heading to Dagu. The hotel here is excellent. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable for sleeping. The basement dining area is decorated in a European style and is incredibly beautiful, so we enjoyed sipping beer leisurely there. In the morning, after breakfast, we traveled from the hotel for about 15 minutes to the entrance. The journey was convenient. After passing through the gate (tickets purchased via Trip can be scanned with a passport for entry), we took a bus to the cable car station. Along the way, there were 3-4 stops, but we didn’t focus on those. Our main goal was the cable car, which is the highest in the world—very exciting! The cable car ascended higher and higher, passing through clouds one by one. We were eager to see where it would end. The surrounding views were truly stunning. The trees changing colors and the snow clinging to the leaves and branches created a breathtaking sight. It was genuinely beautiful. After reaching the summit, we walked to see the glacier. The weather was freezing! We couldn’t walk for long and ended up sitting inside a building instead. Thinking back, it’s a pity we didn’t explore more. But no worries, we’ll visit again this year.
