A Memorable Stay at NH Collection Havodda

If you're seeking a resort in the Maldives that truly stands out， look no further. NH Collection Havodda impresses you right from arrival. You're greeted with music and warm smiles from the staff， making you feel joyfully welcomed. Right after， they offer chilled rose-scented towels and a refreshing juice to help you unwind after the trip. Your host will explain the hotel areas and provide a phone number to contact at any time for your needs. We were a bit let down that some activities were canceled due to the low season and fewer guests. Activities like DJ nights and yoga classes were missed， which seemed unfair， as all guests deserve the same experience regardless of the time of year. The island is regularly fumigated， so mosquitoes are not an issue at all. The whole island is impeccably maintained， from public restrooms to restaurants and lounging spaces. Cleanliness is truly exceptional throughout the hotel.We enjoyed massages at the Spa with Tya and Noksen， two very professional ladies whose massages we loved. We stayed in a Water Villa... how does one capture paradise?! Like the rest of the hotel， it's well-maintained and supplied with everything you could need. Housekeeping visits twice a day—morning and evening—so the room remains immaculate. The bed is perfect. The open-air bathroom is amazing—our favorite was the outdoor shower with views of the turquoise horizon... Simply dreamy.The rest of the resort is unbeatable—from the marvelous facilities， restaurants， hammocks—everything is well-designed and tended with great attention to detail. The only small downside is the wooden bridge leading to the Water Villas; walk cautiously if barefoot due to splinters and a few loose boards. (We were informed renovations are forthcoming， so likely this will be addressed soon.)The buffet food pleasantly surprised us with its variety and quality， especially the breakfasts， which were unmatched! Besides the vast selection， you can request whatever you'd like， and they will gladly prepare it. The Surf restaurant features an outstanding Executive Chef， Arthur， who is incredibly kind， approachable， and cooks amazing dishes! You must try his curated menu. Big kudos to Arthur and the whole kitchen team! Including Chinthaka and Noli， two chefs who prepare everything beautifully with great care at the Surf restaurant， where you can watch cooking live from the open kitchen.Our waiter， Suraj， was very attentive， extremely kind， and ensured we had everything we needed during our dinners... Congratulations to him; he truly deserves it.At this resort on an island in the Indian Ocean， you'll find beauty in every corner and feel the nature's vibrant energy. While natural beauty is abundant on any Maldivian island， what sets NH Collection Havodda apart is its exceptional staff. Words can't express how genuinely they made us feel—every staff member， every moment. Good service is expected at hotels， but they excel beyond it. You have to meet them to understand. No staff member， from waiters to cleaners， will slip from memory! With sincere smiles and perfect manners， they outshine many five-star hotels—we've never experienced anything like it.Special mention to Kush， Kalyan， and Mikal—congratulations to these wonderful individuals. They were so warm and special! Simply 10/10 professionals and remarkable human beings. The deep conversations we had with them will stick with us. They emit a wonderful energy that lifts your spirit constantly， enhancing the trip's beauty. They cared with dedication and made us laugh continuously.We’d also highlight Ismail from the diving center. He guided us to nearby islands on jet skis and took loads of photos and videos—a genuinely friendly and cheerful guy. None of the staff ever refused anything， didn’t make a fuss， and their sincerity and dedication were evident in every gesture. Their care felt genuine every moment. Cold scented towels， fruit shots—no detail was overlooked.Thank you all， truly! This trip wouldn't have been the same without you. We're already eager to return. Going to NH Collection Havodda is genuinely disconnecting from the hectic world into paradise. If you can visit—don't hesitate.
