A cozy hotel in a small town

#GetDiscountWithoutLuck The Best Western Hotel Baars was originally a family business of the Baars family that had been here since 1875. Although it is now part of the Best Western chain, it still maintains the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of a local hotel. The rooms here are large and spacious, with new and clean light-colored wooden furniture that gives a warm feeling like being at home. The restaurant here is divided into a breakfast room that we used, and a “Baars” restaurant that serves French food for lunch and dinner. The location of the hotel is on Smeepoortstraat, right next to the Grote Kerk church. From the hotel, if you want to go to the Dolfinarium, it is only about a 15-minute walk. It is quite convenient. ****-Breakfast Line-**** ➡️ Eggs/Bacon – We chose to try the Scrambled Eggs, which were a bit dry, but the bacon, which was small and crushed, was fried dry and crispy. ➡️ Salad – There were cucumbers and fresh, crispy cherry tomatoes. We liked the small, round, sweet tomatoes so much that we put them in the yogurt fruit salad. They go well together. ➡️ Bread – There are many types to choose from. After trying a little bit of each, we liked the sliced ​​bread with chewy sugar in the bread. We asked the staff and found out that it was Dutch Sugar Bread that the Dutch eat. This bread is very soft. Toast it until the outside is a little crispy. It has a crispy outside and soft inside texture. It goes very well with hot coffee. ➡️ Cold Cuts ➡️ Cheese – There are 3-4 types to choose from, including our favorite Brie. Enjoy eating it. ➡️ Fruit – They are well-selected and not bruised. It is considered okay. Overall, the quality of the breakfast line here is quite good. The atmosphere looks spacious and comfortable.
