Can you take a dip in a hot spring in New Zealand? Hanmer Springs

It's just under two hours by car from Christchurch on New Zealand's South Island 🚗. After going through the winding roads, you'll arrive at a town called Hanmer Springs! It's a small town, but it's full of people on weekends! Yes, there is a hot spring ♨️ (from my perspective as a Japanese person, it's more of a heated pool than a hot spring) The water temperature is about 40℃, so it's too hot in the summer, so I recommend going in the winter!
