The Birthplace of Sun Quan, Longmen Ancient Town

As someone from Zhejiang, I've known about Longmen Ancient Town since I was a child, but I've never been there because it's not a very famous tourist destination. I bought a Zhejiang Cultural Tourism Card, which includes the entrance fee, so I decided to visit. We bought the Zhejiang Cultural Tourism Card for 51 yuan, which covers many scenic spots, so we didn't need to pay any extra fees to enter. To be honest, I really like the atmosphere of the ancient town. It's not overly commercialized, but as a paid attraction, it's not well-maintained. Many dilapidated old buildings haven't been properly restored or protected, making many areas look messy. However, I still like it. Strolling through the town, I felt like I was back at my grandfather's house when I was a child. Apart from tourists, there are almost no young people living in the ancient town, but the people there are very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The snacks are good too. After arriving, I learned that Fuyang produces badminton rackets, so I bought one. The price was fair, and the quality was good. The owner of Sanzhen Specialty Snacks was very easygoing. After we finished our meal, he even gave us a discount. It was the first time I'd eaten at a scenic spot where the owner offered a discount. And the food was delicious, with reasonable prices. The fermented glutinous rice with bean curd is also worth trying (at Wumei Fermented Rice Wine Bureau). I wasn't planning on going in, but when I got to the entrance, it started to rain heavily, and the owner invited us in to take shelter. We could look around without having to buy anything. Since we were bored, we ordered the fermented glutinous rice with bean curd. It was pretty good, not a bad choice. In summary, the maintenance of the scenic spot is not very good for an ancient town. Even the parking lot and tourist center outside are tidier than the inside. However, there are many small scenic spots that are still worth seeing. Also, if you don't enter through the ticket gate, you might not have to pay. (When we reached the end, we saw a large entrance/exit that didn't seem to require tickets, near Longmen Stationery. You can try it. See the last picture.)
