The current pagoda was rebuilt in 2002, but the ruins of the old pagoda are preserved in the basement for visitors to explore, giving it a strong historical vibe. 2️⃣ Is there really a **"Madam White Snake"** under the pagoda? Actually, the pagoda bricks contained Buddhist scriptures, and ancient people believed these bricks could ward off evil spirits. This led to the folklore that "Leifeng Pagoda bricks can suppress demons." 3️⃣ The best time for photos is **between 4-6 PM**! The sunset bathes the entire pagoda in golden hues, making it as stunning as the "Leifeng Sunset" depicted in paintings. No wonder it's one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake! 4️⃣ Each floor of the pagoda features **wood carvings depicting the story of Madam White Snake**, from borrowing an umbrella on the lake to flooding Jinshan Temple.
