Check out the new art landmark in Hangzhou, the Cai Zhizhong Art Museum in Xixi.

💖On November 18, a new cultural and artistic landmark, the Cai Zhizhong Art Museum, was added to the Gaozhuang area of Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou. The museum has a floor area of about 3,302 square meters. It uses paintings to express the Tao, integrating traditional culture and philosophy into spatial art expression. The sculptures at the entrance are made from the original prototypes of Cai Zhizhong's comics and are particularly cute. 🤗Cai Zhizhong has lived in Xixi Wetland for 15 years and has deep feelings for it, regarding it as his second hometown. In recent years, many of his comic works have been inspired by Hangzhou. He was reminded that this place is "the land of eternal beauty" and felt the "great beauty of heaven and earth" in Xixi. So, for 15 days, he worked tirelessly, creating vivid images of the 108 heroes of Water Margin. 🕘Opening hours The museum is open free of charge from 9:00 to 17:00 every Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays, open on public holidays, and closed on the first day after the holiday). 🌈Exhibition halls and exhibits The museum has three main exhibition halls: the Footprint Hall, the Handwriting Hall, and the Heart Hall. 1️⃣Footprint Hall: Showcases Cai Zhizhong's legendary life experiences, from Changhua in Taiwan to Taipei, from Japan to Hangzhou, recording important milestones and his creative journey. 2️⃣Handwriting Hall: Dedicated to Cai Zhizhong's comics on Chinese studies and science, such as "Zhuangzi Speaks," "Laozi Speaks," and "Liezi Speaks," showcasing his creative achievements. 3️⃣Heart Hall: Analyzes Cai Zhizhong's creative connection with Xixi, especially his creative journey of the "Water Margin" comics, and exhibits related works. The museum houses more than 400 of Cai Zhizhong's masterpieces, including the "Water Margin" comic series. ✅The museum also has a cultural and creative store, a coffee area, and a reading area.
