The pond is surrounded by a nature-rich promenade and floating pier, making it a place of relaxation for citizens who want to exercise through marathons and walking. There are many different types of birds in the park, and carp and turtles live in the pond, so it would be fun for children to observe them as part of their nature studies. It also seems that rare animals such as nutria live there. (I haven't seen a nutria yet though...) In spring, the rows of cherry trees surrounding the park turn beautiful colors, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing.
