If you like small towns like me, it's perfect for an overnight stay. Personally, I found it a bit boring in the evenings, but it was a satisfying small town. You can also enjoy a boat ride on the lake, and it was a unique place. Hallstatt is truly a fairytale-like village. The rain was annoying, but the fog gave it a dreamy feel.
