Xu Zhimo’s Former Residence – A Poetic Sanctuary of China’s Romantic Poet

#discoverchina Xu Zhimo (1897–1931) was a celebrated Chinese modern poet and essayist, a leading figure of the Crescent Moon School. He is best known for works like “Saying Goodbye to Cambridge Again” and “A Night in Florence”. The residence was built in 1926 and served as the home of Xu Zhimo and his wife Lu Xiaoman after their marriage.
