Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji (Hotel with Hello Kitty)

Although it is a hotel located in Tokyo, it is situated in Hachioji City, about an hour away from Tokyo Station. Excluding the 23 wards, it is the most populous city in Tokyo and the center of the Tama area. It is a station where limited express trains stop and serves as a transportation hub in southwestern Tokyo. Mount Takao, a beloved hiking spot for Tokyo residents, is located here. Since hotel prices in Tokyo are expensive and the next day's schedule is in Tachikawa and Chofu, this place was chosen as the accommodation. Also, this is a Sanrio-affiliated hotel with Kitty rooms, and you can find Kitty throughout the restaurant and hotel. It is also a chain where we stayed in Shinjuku and Sapporo. The hotel is located between JR Hachioji Station and Keio Hachioji Station, about a 3-minute and 5-minute walk respectively, making it a double station area. It is also an excellent station for going to Kawaguchiko. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30 PM and checked in. The hotel is 14 floors high, and we were assigned to the 12th floor. The view is toward JR Hachioji Station. Don Quijote is a 4-minute walk away, so we briefly went there at 2 AM. The area around the station is also well developed for nightlife. The hotel building opened in 1996, so it feels the weight of time, but the features of a first-class hotel are visible here and there. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, and a giant Kitty welcomes you from the entrance. There is also a Sanrio photo zone, which is exciting. There is a made-to-order omelet corner, and French toast is also served warm. It is a space where you can enjoy a leisurely meal.
