Xinjiang-Tibet Highway - Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier

Day 9 on the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway (September 14), we drove from Gyantse along G349, passing Manla Reservoir, Karola Glacier, and Yamdrok Lake, then took the Yaye Expressway to Lhasa. The total distance was about 270 km. Because there was a section of expressway, it took less than 5 hours to drive. We checked in at the Tibet Hotel at 6 pm, officially ending the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway trip. The total distance was more than 3,100 km, and it took 8 days (starting from 0 km in Yecheng). We will rest in Lhasa for two days. We had seen the attractions along the way today. Karola Glacier was covered by clouds and could not be seen. Only Yamdrok Lake, although we had seen it many times, was still amazing, especially when we saw it from a different angle with a drone.
