Gwangju or Kwangju, a new destination in Korea

Gwangju is not a well-known city for Thai people. We had the chance to go here because of work. It is the city that impressed us the most (at the moment) ^^ This time we went to work which was a show for children. It was held at ACC, short for Asian Culture Center. This place is very new and spacious. There are 5-7 buildings in total. I am not sure. Each building is divided into different types. Let's start with the first building where we work. It is a children's activity building. This building has 4-5 floors. There is a playground floor, a theater for children and families, a library for children. There were many parents bringing their children. It was loud and lively ^^ And there is a building that is a museum. It talks about the culture of each region. For example, Peranakan, we knew it from walking here for the first time. There is a small movie room that tells the story of women in Central Asia. It is a movie from Pakistan. There is a show of various items from different cultures. There is a digital library that is really amazing. It collects all the information. You can type it to find information. It is not like searching from the internet because every information has a reference. It has reliable sources. It is suitable for students who are doing research. There are still many buildings that I haven't been to yet. Because time is limited. It's good that this kind of thing is not only in the capital. People who do not live in Seoul have the opportunity to use it. All of ACC has both free and paid times. The organization is driven by the government budget. Let me tell you a little bit. Before coming to Korea this time, we watched the movie The Taxi Driver, which tells the story of the protests before the change of government in Korea. Yes, that movie is here, Gwangju. After finishing work and ACC had no time to walk around, we followed the movie The Taxi Driver. We "tried" to find the monument of the protests before the change of government. After the operation was successful, the government built this monument to commemorate the ancestors who sacrificed a lot of blood and life. We took the subway. Yes, this city has a subway ^^ We took the subway to the monument. There is information about the events at the station, which I can't read.
