|The "Kailash" of Guangxi. Baishi Mountain is also called Baishi Cave, the 21st of the 36 Taoist caves. There are many ancient temples in the mountain, including the Buddhist Shousheng Temple, the Taoist Sanqing Temple, and the Taoist Huixian Rock. Baishi Mountain is a typical Taoist Danxia landform. The famous geographer Xu Xiake once visited here and wrote "Baishi Travel Notes", which makes people imagine the thrilling scene of "cliff must go" when reading it. The unique landform of Baishi Mountain attracts tourists from all over the country. The peaks here are steep, and it was also a famous Taoist and Buddhist holy place. There are two main ways to visit Baishi Mountain. One is to walk along the foot of the mountain to see the mountain forest scenery and the Buddhist and Taoist sites such as Shousheng Temple and Sanqing Temple along the way; the other is to start a mountain climbing trip along the "Yixiantian". There are two peaks in Baishi Mountain, one is Duxiu Peak and the other is Lotus Stamen. The former is too thrilling to visit, while the latter is a place for climbing. It takes about 1.5 hours to reach the top. After walking through the stone steps, there is a steeper ladder. However, there is a very thrilling road from the ladder to the top of the mountain, which is as difficult as rock climbing. It is recommended not to go there rashly. The first half of the road was a real sheep's path, with a lot of sheep dung, and I saw someone herding sheep. The second half was partly muddy and partly hardened. Check-in place ① Huixian Rock: Huixian Rock at the top of the mountain. It is said that it is very effective to pray for immortals and fate here. The incense is 20 yuan/bundle (including candles). It is a good place to pray for entertainment and self-cultivation. ② Yixiantian: The road leading to the mountain is paved with stone steps by ancient people, sandwiched between two peaks. Looking up from the bottom, it looks like the sky is split open, hence the name: Yixiantian. ③ Sanqing Temple: There is a Taoist temple on Baishi Mountain, called Sanqing Temple, which is one of the top ten Taoist temples in China. ④ Shousheng Temple: The thousand-year-old Shousheng Temple is located near the climbing entrance. It is currently being rebuilt and is recruiting people to add bricks and tiles to practice merit. There are ancient stone carvings left by ancient people on the cliff behind the temple. ⑤ Madong Litchi: Madong Town is the hometown of litchi in China. After reaching the top, you can see litchi gardens for dozens of miles around.
