Guigang Longtan Forest Park, Guangxi | Nature's Green Treasure

|Nature's green treasure. Guiping Longtan National Forest Park! 🎉 This is a natural oxygen bar, with a forest coverage rate of 98.3% and 80,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air. Walking into the park is like being in a sea of green, and you feel like your body and mind are being purified. 🌲💨 📍 Longtan Forest Park is located in Guiping, southeastern Guangxi, and is known as the green gem of the Tropic of Cancer. The park is a primeval forest with fresh air and beautiful mountains and rivers. 🎫 Tickets: Discounted tickets are available until September 30, 2024. Single tickets are CNY 40, double tickets are CNY 60, and triple tickets are CNY 80. You can buy tickets directly at the entrance to the park. 🚗 Road conditions: The road up the mountain is paved with cement and can accommodate two-way traffic. 🌲 Attractions: 1️⃣ Longtan Waterfall: The water is super cool. It's quite a distance from the entrance to the park. There are signs along the road, and you can park your car near the waterfall trailhead. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the waterfall. Some of the steps are quite steep, so if you're worried about getting tired or have small children, it's not recommended. 2️⃣ Longtan Rafting: There are two sessions every day (1:30 pm and 3:30 pm). Tickets are CNY 100. Visitors over 1.4 meters tall can raft alone. Visitors under 1.4 meters tall but over 1.2 meters tall can raft with an adult. Please ask the staff at the rafting area for details. 3️⃣ Swallow Pool: You can swim, set up a stall, and play in the water. You can see it on the way down the mountain. Park your car on the side of the road and walk down. 4️⃣ Mountain Monkeys: You can see them on the way up the mountain. They hang out in small groups on the side of the road, climbing trees and waiting for food. When we went before, they were gathered at the trailhead to Longtan Waterfall. We ate watermelon or cantaloupe at the observation deck on the way up the mountain, and then fed the leftover rinds to the monkeys. You can also buy bananas or bread to feed them. But don't get out of the car with food or bags, or the monkeys will rush up and grab them, which is scary! If you don't have anything in your hands, it's fine. We just roll down the window a little to feed them. 🏕️ RV Campground If you're tired, you can rest at the Longtan RV Campground. A tent, a small nest, stars in the sky, and people on the ground taking a break from their busy lives, enjoying the tranquility of the forest at night.
