Lunar New Year at Canton Tower: Overlooking the Night View

Canton Tower, also known as Xiaomanyao, is located near Chigang Tower in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. It officially opened in 2010, with a total height of 600 meters, including a main tower body of 450 meters and an antenna mast of 150 meters. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and the third tallest tower in the world and the tallest in China. Canton Tower is a tourist attraction that integrates urban sightseeing, high-altitude amusement, fashion dining, wedding exhibitions, film and television entertainment, environmental protection and science popularization, cultural education, shopping, and leisure. It has entertainment projects such as a 488-meter outdoor observation deck, a high-speed roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, a 450-meter outdoor observation deck, and a Jinyi Sky Cinema. Canton Tower is a landmark project in Guangzhou that can withstand an 8-magnitude earthquake and a 12-magnitude typhoon, with a design life of over 100 years. The tower has a "Spider-Man Walkway" at 168-334 meters, which is the highest and longest aerial walkway in the world; a revolving restaurant at 422.8 meters, which is the highest revolving restaurant in the world; a Ferris wheel at 450-454 meters, which is the highest Ferris wheel in the world; and a "High-Speed Roller Coaster" at 455-485 meters, which is the highest vertical drop amusement project in the world. During the Lunar New Year, there are more tourists, and you need to make a reservation on the official account in advance to see the night view of Canton Tower. There are three ticket prices, ranging from over 100 to over 300, depending on the height of the tower. We bought the middle price, thinking we could go up the tower when it was time, but there were too many people, and we had to queue for more than 2 hours before going up the tower. Because of the strong wind on the tower, we came down in 20 minutes. Overlooking the night view of Guangzhou from Canton Tower, the city is brightly lit, with tall buildings and roads crisscrossing, and the beautiful Pearl River running through the city, with boats bustling on the river. The whole city is as bright as a star river. I regret not buying tickets for the revolving restaurant or Ferris wheel. Enjoying the beautiful scenery in a closed glass house can avoid the interference of strong winds and make the view more comfortable.
