Planting trees in the sky, I plant the cause

Guangzhou has been around for thousands of years, and forests are everywhere. The most famous ones are the temples of Liurong and Guangxiao. Located on Liurong Road in Yuexiu District, not far from Guangxiao Temple, they are considered neighbors. The pagoda in Liurong Temple is towering and colorful, known as the Flower Pagoda, and is one of the famous scenic spots in Guangzhou. Liurong Temple, which was built in the Datong period of the Liang Dynasty, was destroyed and rebuilt many times, and finally met the famous Mr. Dongpo in the Northern Song Dynasty. Because of the ancient temple and the tall and lush banyan trees, he wrote the words "Liurong" (Six Banyans), which became the source of the temple's name, and the original name of Jinghui Temple was thus hidden. "Guangxiao is famous for its trees, and Jinghui is famous for its pagoda." The two temples have their own merits. The former is the place where the Sixth Patriarch Huineng was taught, and the latter has been with Su Shi for thousands of years. Now you can still see his statue in the temple. It's small, but it's always standing to welcome guests.
