[MAISON KEI] Paris 3-star restaurant chef Kobayashi Kei and Japanese confectionery shop Toraya restaurant

"Maison KEI" is a French restaurant located in Higashiyama, Gotemba City, which was established by the first Japanese chef to receive a three-star French award, Kobayashi Kei, and the long-established Japanese confectionery shop Toraya. When I traveled to Paris in November 2019, the restaurant I most wanted to visit was Kobayashi's restaurant, Restaurant Kei, but unfortunately, it was closed during my stay, so I was very reluctant to go. I can't believe I can experience the world of Kobayashi Kei in Japan! I can't help but go! lol So I made a reservation and went there 🚗 The thing that impressed me the most was Chef Kobayashi's specialty, Jardin des Legumes Croquant, which is also familiar from Restaurant KEI in Paris. Lemon foam decorated with edible flowers Below that was 40 kinds of vegetables, mainly from Shizuoka, smoked trout, and arugula and anchovy sauce. To finish, they sprinkle almond and black olive crumble on the table in front of you, and you mix it yourself to turn it green before eating. If you think it's a salad...? You're completely wrong.
