Beautiful Gongsanseong Fortress

We are a bunch of friends from various nationalities. We discovered this place almost by accident. We were on our way back to our homes when we saw this beautiful fortress standing tall with a mesmerizing view on a river bank. We immediately stopped and went inside. Thankfully, it was a good decision. Situated on a river bank with a relative height, the fortress offers a beautiful view all around when atop. Clean and green environment is so soothing and calm that one is tempted to spend more time here than can originally thought to spare. Stoned-wall structure is typical of a fortresses anywhere in the world. Yet being located right in the middle of a city grants a rather unique identity to Gongsanseong Fortress.
