"Kawaramachi" is an old town in Gifu. Opposite the dock for the "Ukai Sightseeing Boat" is the "Tourist Information Center" and the "Free Rest Area". The cafe attached to the "Tourist Information Center" is "Ukai Chaya Shagu", and I found a unique menu item. It says "Baked Uiro". The specialty seems to be "Nagara Uiro", but you can also taste baked Uiro desserts. Plain 120 yen Brown Sugar Kinako 150 yen Anko Butter 150 yen I ordered the brown sugar kinako, which was hot, sweet and chewy. It was a delicious baked Uiro.
