Mt Cook New Zealand

#newzealandtrip No trip to New Zealand’s South Island is complete without a trip to Mt Cook. The view of the dramatic mountains is simply spectacular. Everywhere we turned, we were greeted with jaw dropping views of the mountains and lake. We were there to do some trekking and there are many trails available for all fitness levels. The trail is mostly flat but can be quite long so do pack appropriate footwear. We went in November but it was still very cold so be sure to dress in warm and waterproof layers as the weather is very unpredictable. There is a toilet available with a huge carpark. For those who are driving a campervan will be pleased to know there is a paid campground as well. But do book early especially in peak seasons. If you are looking for a place to relax and take in all nature has to offer, this is the place for you. You have got to experience it for yourself.
