Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins

I went to the "Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins" in #Fukui City, #Fukui Prefecture ((((((っ・ω・)っ I was lucky because it was a free day for a festival✌︎(*´罒`*)✌︎ When I passed through the gate, I felt like I had traveled back in time٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ It's surrounded by a wall, and inside it are restored samurai residences and town houses (´∀`) I'm excited It's between the mountains and there are no large buildings around, so you can't see any buildings from inside the park, so you can easily enter the world of the Sengoku period (ˊo̴̶̷̤ ̫ o̴̶̷̤ˋ)♡ The photo spot, which is redecorated with each season, has many Japanese umbrellas and wind chimes, so it's sure to look great on Instagram ♡ キャッ(∀〃(〃∀)キャツ♡ The sound of the wind chimes was refreshing and nice 🏍 Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins 🏍 Address: Kidonouchi-cho, Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 Admission fee: 330 yen for adults 100 yen for elementary and junior high school students #Connect with people who like bikes #Connect with people who like sightseeing #Connect with people who like traveling #Fukui trip #Fukui tourist spots #Fukui sightseeing #Fukui city trip #Fukui city tourist spots #Fukui city sightseeing #Fukui touring #tourism #tourist spots #tourist spots #tourist spots #tourist spots #tourist spots #tourist spots #kankou #shinobi-chan #wind chimes #Japanese umbrella #Ichijodani restored townscape #samurai residence #machiya #besttrip2023

Ichijōdani Asakura Ruins

Not easy to get to but well worth the trip if you are into Japanese history and can speak and understand a even a little Japanese. This is the site of a castletown that flourished deep in the mountains and nothing remained. Now there are a number of reconstructed residences and a large portion of the site has been excavated showing pillars, walls, wells, and so forth. A small museum has relics of medieval life. There is a small waterfall called 'Ichijo-daki' deep in the woods, about 3 km from Ichijodani Asakura Ruins. It is quite small waterfalls compared to other waterfalls I’ve visited but definitely worth a visit. #givethanks #givethanks
