Laomudeng

Laomudeng is a Nu word meaning "a place people like to visit." The largest Christian church in the Nujiang River Basin, Laomudeng Church, is located on a cliff of the Biluo Snow Mountain. From the highest point of the village, you can see the Biluo Snow Mountain, Gaoligong Mountain, and the Nujiang River roaring between them. You can also see the uniquely shaped Crown Mountain, which looks like a crown and stands out among the mountains. The sacred mountain and river are reflected in the clear water, creating a fairyland-like scene. It is truly a masterpiece of nature.
