The a moment of silence inside a vivid city

The Old St. Nicholas Church is an old medieval Lutheran church located in Altstad (old town) of Frankfurt just next to Romer City Hall. Despite the severe bombings of Frankfurt during the World War II, the church remained in fairly good shape and suffered only minor damages. The construction works started late 12 th century and the church has been since renovated and maintained until today. The location in the vivid and even noisy old town of Frankfurt makes the contrast so big. Just go in from the door and you will experience complete silence in contrary to the life noises outside.
