Trip to Cologne and Frankfurt!

Had a little trip to Cologne, Germany. It was my first time in the city and I really liked it! Visited the infamous Cologne cathedral which was beautiful, walked around the city, drank some Kölsch which is typical beer from Cologne, and of course had some currywurst! Also took a day trip to Frankfurt which was only 2 hours away from Cologne with car, but you can also take the train there. As Frankfurt is the financial capital of Germany, we visited the European Central Bank and if you are interested in the stock market, I would recommend visiting the Deutsche Börse, the German stock exchange, which you can visit for free! I highly recommend visiting Goethe’s house in Frankfurt if you have read his books or just like going to museums. They also had several nice art exhibitions there. When in Frankfurt you also have to try the special green sauce that comes with schnitzel, it was delicious! #germany #cologne #colognecathedral #frankfurt
