New Zealand South Island - The most spiritual glacier melt lake: Lake Matheson

#100TravelWays During a self-driving trip to the South Island of New Zealand, we drove to #LakeMatheson near Fox Glacier. There is a famous Matheson Lake Trail, which takes about 40 minutes to circle the lake and enjoy the beautiful mirror-like Matheson Lake. If the weather is clear, you can clearly see Mount Cook and Mount Tasman reflected on the lake, which is why Lake Matheson is crowned as the most spiritual lake. Unfortunately, the weather was bad when we visited, but we still saw the beautiful glacial lake and green moss. There are four walking routes around Lake Masonson, none of which are very long, and you can bathe in the phytoncides of the forest.
