Guangzhou | Tongtian Candle

Tongtian Candle is located at the junction of Conghua in Guangzhou, Fogang County in Qingyuan, and Xinfeng County in Shaoguan. When spring arrives, the mountains are covered with bright red azaleas. From a distance, the mountain top looks like the red candlelight illuminating the sky, hence the local people call it Tongtian Candle. Tongtian Candle is the sixth of the ten peaks in Conghua, while Huangjin Nao is the eleventh peak outside the ten peaks of Conghua. Travel Tips: Difficulty: 3 stars, Huangjin Nao loop 3.5 stars Highest Altitude: Tongtian Candle 1047m, Huangjin Nao 988m Route Length: 15~18km Hiking Duration: about 8 hours Total Ascent: 888m Supply Points: Shiming Village has small shops, the mountain top has popular chicken porridge WC: Shiming Village has public toilets, there are public toilets near the reservoir (quite dirty) Signal: There is basically no signal on the mountain, but there is weak signal at some spots on the top Transportation: Drive to "Shiming Primary School" using navigation. If you don't want to walk on the cement road in front, you can directly navigate to "Tongluowan Reservoir". Parking fee is 25 yuan/day
