We walked into Museo Galileo without a reservation—no issue at all! You can enter with ease， and unlike many of Florence's main attractions， this museum was refreshingly uncrowded. It was also an ideal retreat from the midday heat! This museum is packed with scientific instruments—telescopes， globes， compasses， and even some original tools of Galileo. It brings science to life， showcasing why Galileo was truly a genius—not just for proving that Earth orbits the Sun， but for his persistent quest for truth via observation and evidence. You don’t have to be a science enthusiast to enjoy this museum—it’s educational， interactive， and beautifully presented. There are videos， models， and plenty of English explanations.
