Explore winding boardwalks hugging the turquoise water, ideal for a sunrise stroll or picnic by the rocks. Don’t miss snapping the canyon’s sheer cliffs reflecting on the bay for a truly “insta-worthy” landscape. At Swan Lake, also found in the Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area, early mornings promise quiet, magical mist and maybe—if you’re lucky—graceful swans gliding by. I recommend bringing a windbreaker, as canyon gusts can surprise you! For both spots: Carry water, dress in layers (mountain weather flips fast!), mind slippery stones, and double-check your route as signage is sparse. Duku’s peaceful vibe is best savored with lingering pauses—don’t rush!
