Phuong Town offers riverside raft accommodations with a great atmosphere, clear and cool water. We stayed at Raft House Pha Luang, priced at 850 THB per room with shared bathrooms. In the evening, boats selling food pass by, and you can call them over to buy meals. There are rubber rings available for water activities. The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. It gives off a vibe similar to Cheow Lan Lake but is much more budget-friendly, with cheaper accommodations and food. Especially the papaya salad, which is delicious at every restaurant. Phuong Town has many attractions to explore and is not far from Vientiane. Highly recommended! Travel Information: We rented a van for 3,500 THB per day, including fuel, accommodation, and toll fees. Most of the roads are dirt paths, making the journey quite challenging and time-consuming.
