A treasure island in the Maldives, a snorkeling paradise.

“Calm Island” is breathtakingly beautiful, and a snorkeling paradise. A rare natural island with a glassy sea that is blue and green. Arrival 🚢. Take a seaplane to the island, and a luxury car will pick you up after you get off the plane. The seaplane lounge has a separate area for Calm Island, with self-service food and drinks. There are not many options, but enough. There is a dedicated “W” staff member to serve you all the way. Although they don't speak much Chinese, they are very good at using translation software. They even help you arrange dinner on the day of arrival and lunch and dinner the next day while you are resting. Beach villa 🏠. The back door leads to the pool, facing the best snorkeling area. Take photos of the sunrise on the pier in front of the door in the morning, and it feels like you are in a beautiful setting. The house is very large, with two floors. You can enjoy snacks on the second floor while feeling the sea breeze. It is semi-open. Water villa 🏠. I was shocked when I moved in. You can see fish playing in the room, and the glassy sea is right in front of you, as if you are floating on it. Food 🍸. I booked a package with two meals, which was the right choice. I couldn't eat three meals. Breakfast is amazing, with a buffet of Western and Southeast Asian flavors, and everything is delicious. There are three specialty restaurants for dinner, which need to be reserved in advance. Just tell the butler in advance. Recommended: Fiah. The mini bar is free and refilled at any time. Except for alcoholic drinks, everything else is included, so you can drink as much as you want. Service 👩. The service is in place throughout the whole process, and the attitude is first-class. The staff on the island smile when they see people. The only downside is the Chinese butler (a girl from Sichuan). The promised service is 24-hour Q&A, but she doesn't say anything, and it takes two or three hours to reply even if you ask her. She forgot to book a meal and add a quilt. When I asked her on WeChat at night, she said she was off work. Speechless. She has a good attitude, but doesn't reply. Everything else is perfect. Suggestions: Remember to ask the driver for earplugs when taking a seaplane, otherwise you will be dizzy from the noise. Tips: Bring more one-dollar bills. It is a tipping country, and there are many places to use them.
