A Perfect Honeymoon Destination

If it's possible for you to visit the Ritz Carlton Maldives， go for it. Seriously. Use your points， save up—do whatever it takes. My partner and I spent our honeymoon there， and we both agree it was the best trip we've ever taken. NATURE: The Maldives is a stunning natural paradise. It's a truly unique part of the world. We did a lot of snorkeling and saw nearly every character from Finding Nemo: clownfish， starfish， sharks， turtles， an octopus， a squid， and even a manta ray! The snorkeling trips led by marine biologists were educational yet engaging， never feeling like dull lectures. Everything was informative without being intrusive. Although I'm not a big nature enthusiast， it felt peaceful and otherworldly being in the water. The island also thrives with tropical plants and various birds. Amazingly， I didn't get a single bug bite during our stay (and I usually get bitten a lot!). The island boasts beautiful views of sunrise and sunset.FOOD: The food was fantastic on many levels. The Ritz Carlton excels in both formal dining and casual beach fare. My partner and I couldn't decide whether the Summer Pavilion (Chinese) or Arabesque (Mediterranean) was our favorite dining spot. We also loved Iwau's open-air omakase. Aside from these dinners， we enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet (pastries! homemade yogurt! the Maldivian lobster omelet!). Tum Tum is another delicious spot， worth the quick boat trip to Patina， and I recommend the Saffron Mocktail at the Beach Shack! SERVICE: The key to our perfect vacation was our Aris Meeha， Ammadey. Having never experienced a butler service before， we didn't know what to expect， but soon realized its immense value. Ammadey handled countless details， ensuring we never had to transport our snorkel gear or cycle in formal clothes by always arranging buggy rides. Our room was serviced twice a day， meaning it was always clean and fresh. Whenever we had a request， Ammadey responded promptly and helpfully. More than just logistics， his thoughtfulness added unforgettable touches. One night， we returned to a drawn bath with candles and snacks， among many other pleasant surprises. The staff， including Yao who gave me the best massage I've ever had， and Mogu & Eliza， who enhanced our Summer Pavilion experience， were exceptional. We are extremely grateful for their world-class service， making us feel at home even as we traveled across the globe.An 11/10 experience， we're already planning our next visit! :)
