Pathfinder Episode 163: Sansheng Temple in Fansi County, Shanxi

Returning to Sansheng Temple. Among the three temples in Fansi, this one is my favorite. Not only because of the exquisite and high-standard statues in the main hall, but also because you always spot something new and interesting when you glance around unexpectedly. It’s also quite amusing—the side halls mix in many roughly made modern statues, whose simple and comical appearance stands out even more against the classic works, adding a bit of lightness to the otherwise solemn historical remembrance. [Joyful][Joyful][Joyful] 🌺 Sansheng Temple is located in the village and perhaps due to various historical reasons, it has preserved more of its original, rustic atmosphere. Especially the small trinkets in the corners carry a strong local flavor, filled with the joyful spirit of the sorghum harvest. The main highlight is fun. 🌺 Remains from the Jin and Yuan dynasties.
