Wanggong Small Wind Power Plant

Located in Fangyuan, Changhua, the Wanggong Small Wind Power Plant has become a popular check-in spot in recent years due to its unique sci-fi appearance. Over 400 vertical-axis small wind turbines stand among the fish ponds, with their blue and white streamlined shapes resembling an 'alien base' or 'giant egg beater.' The surreal and fantastical atmosphere created by the reflection of the blue sky and the glow of the sunset makes it easy to capture stunning, tech-inspired photos. Although there are no other recreational facilities here, it is an excellent spot for photography enthusiasts. It is especially recommended to combine a visit with the nearby Wanggong Fishing Harbor, Fangyuan Lighthouse, and intertidal ecological experience for a rich one-day trip. It should be noted that some wind turbines have been dismantled due to regulatory issues. While the current landscape is not as spectacular as its peak, the neatly arranged wind turbines still offer a visually striking scene. It is recommended to navigate to 'Xinbao Elementary School' and then proceed along County Road 118 to reach the site. Please follow safety regulations while shooting, do not cross the barricades, and keep the environment clean.
