Fangyuan Wetland Mangrove Sea and Sky Trail

It takes about five to ten minutes to reach the destination by taking Taiwan Highway 61 and exiting at Xiafangyuan Interchange. There are plenty of parking spaces around, so parking is quite convenient. The Sea and Sky Trail has three entrances: South, Central and North. People usually enter from the South entrance because it is closer to the parking lot and has barrier-free space, so elderly people in wheelchairs can also come for a walk. Although the sea-to-sky trail is built on the intertidal zone, it is high enough so you can still walk on it during high tide, just like walking on the sea. When the tide is low, you can see many arc-edge fiddler crabs and pale white fiddler crabs on both sides of the sea-to-sky trail, as well as a rich ecosystem.
