Everyone believes that this temple is the place where we wished something that will be fulfilled. Mana means our soul and Kamana means wishes so the meaning of Manakamana is wishes of our soul. So that people believe that the goddess Bhagawati has the power to grand our wishes because Bhagawati is the core god of this temple. People they sell the name of the Manakamana when they sell Orange. The seller used to say that this orange is came from Manakamana or this orange is Manakamana’s orange.
