Enshi Grand Canyon in the Mist

I originally planned to stay for 2 days at Enshi Grand Canyon for a leisurely hike, but due to continuous rain in the central China region, I had to wait for a break in the rain to enter the mountains. Not wanting to move my luggage in the rain, I decided to stay near Enshi Railway Station and make a day trip. Enshi Bus Station has various tourist buses (¥25), most of which take about 1.5 hours, making transportation quite convenient. The much-anticipated Enshi Grand Canyon, although the rain stopped, the mountains were shrouded in heavy mist, creating a hazy beauty. It was only on the return trail from Yunlong Ground Fissure that I finally saw the magnificent full mountain view. Since I had to visit both Qixingzhai and Yunlong Ground Fissure in one day, I followed the strong recommendation of fellow travelers and bought the all-inclusive ticket (¥370, including entrance fee, ground cable car, shuttle bus, uphill cableway, downhill escalator, and vertical elevator). It took about 5 hours to complete, and I had plenty of time to take the tourist bus back to the city. Next time, I will definitely choose a sunny day to leisurely hike and fully appreciate the beauty of the Grand Canyon.
