Attraction Introduction Enshi Tusi City - Gate Tower: The gate tower of Tusi City, also known as the Tusi Chaomen or Watchtower, is a commemorative building that displays the prestige and merits of the Tusi. It reflects the humanistic thoughts, spatial concepts, and technical wisdom of the Tujia people. - Dong Ethnic Wind and Rain Bridge: Located in the scenic area, this is a characteristic building of the Dong ethnic group. The bridge is exquisitely built, combining a bridge, corridor, and pavilion. - Linjun Temple: A temple dedicated to the Tujia people's revered ancestor "Linjun." It faces east and is backed by a mountain wall with a large mural depicting the heroic deeds of Linjun's life. - Drill Ground: The Tusi's military training ground, where soldiers practiced with guns and horses and rehearsed offensive and defensive maneuvers. - Tujia Dwellings: Mostly built near mountains and rivers, these are stilted buildings with fruit trees and bamboo groves planted in front and behind the houses, showcasing the Tujia people's residential culture and lifestyle. - Nine Halls: The core of Tusi City, consisting of 333 pillars, 333 stone bases, 330 doors, and other components. It is a rare wooden structure with pure mortise and tenon joints, exuding grandeur and splendor. - City Wall: With a total length of 2,320 meters and a width of 1.2 meters, the city wall is built along the mountain's natural contours, stretching majestically. Beacon towers are also widely set up on the city wall. - Bell Tower and Drum Tower: Located in important positions in Tusi City, these towers are used for timekeeping and information transmission, featuring unique architectural styles. Travel Tips - Ticket Information: Tickets are CNY 45. Hubei Tourism Benefit Card holders can enter for free. Children under 1.2 meters, seniors over 70, people with disabilities, and active military personnel can enter for free with valid ID. Children between 1.2 and 1.4 meters, seniors between 60 and 70 with ID, and students with student ID can enjoy half-price tickets. - Opening Hours: April 1–October 8, 07:30–18:00; October 9–March 31, 08:00–17:30. Ticket sales end at 17:30, and last entry is at 17:30. - Transportation: Take bus 30, 17, 1, 39a, 39b, etc., to Tusi City Station from Enshi City. Driving is also an option, but pay attention to navigation as the entrance is not very obvious. - Recommended Tour Route: East Gate Entrance → Mochong Tower → Tusi Spring and Autumn Map → Tiger Button → Moon Lake → Yiqing Waterside Pavilion → Linjun Hall → Tusi Drill Ground → Han-Tusi Boundary Monument → Nine Halls → City Wall → Bell Tower → South Gate.
