Enshi Grand Canyon—a world geological wonder, the Oriental Colorado

Enshi Grand Canyon, a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a national geological park, was discovered by a Sino-French expedition team in 2004. The scenic area is located 50 kilometers northwest of Enshi City, covering a total area of 300 square kilometers, with a length of 108 kilometers. It is acclaimed as a "world geological wonder, the Oriental Colorado." The canyon is filled with sheer cliffs, cascading waterfalls, solitary peaks, spectacular crevasses, primeval forests, and magnificent and perilous landscapes. The mysterious and precipitous Enshi Grand Canyon boasts five major wonders: the Qingjiang River rising to the white clouds, sheer cliffs surrounding peak clusters, natural bridges connecting cave groups, dark rivers meeting waterfalls, and sinkholes paired with crevasses, with the 'Yunlong Crevasse' and other features offering a scenic view at every turn.
